This is Charleston

Hi there, Tali from Rooster here! Rooster is a place for neighbors and organizations to come together, help, borrow and share with one another completely for free - creating commmunity bonds in a brand new, meaningful way. This project grew up in Portland, OR where 1 in 4 homes (over 60,000) are members. You can already browse around a bit, make sure to visit the "Thank yous" area to see some of Portland’s action. You can learn tons more on our blog, and FAQ. section. Rooster has appeared on KGW, The Oregonian, Portland Monthly and others!. It took a ton of work putting together the website you probably thought should exist… and to get everyone in Portland connected. Now we’re passing the torch on to you, the people of . Connecting an entire city can only be achieved through a communal effort where everyone plays their part, large or small. That’s why your first Rooster mission is to get your people in, and grow your branch on the family tree. Here’s how it works:   1. Click on "Grow my branch"   2. You’ll get a unique personal link   3. People joining through your link are added to your branch   4. People joining through their links are added as sub-branches on your branch   5. We keep doing this until is connected, and we can start Roostering!   6. You may start a branch as yourself, or as a group / organization You’ll get live updates as your branch and the family tree grows. Once we start Roostering, the family tree and all it’s connections will be an integral part of the site showing how everyone is connected and recognizing everyone who contributed to the effort.
